Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of kalamkarihouse.in, operated by Kalamkari House (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Products

Every product listed is a Kalamkari textile or piece from Pedana, Andhra Pradesh. Each product page states how the piece is made (hand-painted, block-printed or screen-printed) and what it is made of. Small variations in colour, pattern placement and finish between the product photo and the delivered item are natural and are not considered defects.

2. Pricing and availability

Prices shown at checkout are final and inclusive of all taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to limit order quantities. Stock is reserved only once payment is confirmed; in the rare case two customers purchase the last unit of a piece at the same time, we will contact the affected customer to offer a refund or a suitable alternative.

3. Orders and payment

Orders are processed only after successful payment through our payment partner, Razorpay. An order confirmation does not guarantee stock availability until the order status is marked “Approved” by our team.

4. Shipping

See our Shipping Policy for delivery timelines and charges.

5. Returns and replacements

We don’t accept returns or exchanges. A piece that arrives damaged or defective is replaced free of charge when reported within 48 hours of delivery with a clear, live, unedited video of opening the parcel — see our Returns & Replacement Policy.

6. Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at care@kalamkarihouse.in of any unauthorized use.

7. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Eluru, Eluru District (formerly part of West Godavari District), Andhra Pradesh. This does not take away your right as a consumer, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, to file a complaint with the Consumer Commission where you live or work. See also Legal & Our Commitments.

8. Contact
